On a causal discussion with our colleagues, an office trip was put forward. With our senior partner's interest in it, finally our trip to Georgia was finalized. Being UAE residents, it was easy & economical. After various discussions & considering everyone's availability trip was finalized on April 25th 2018. The whole office was thrilled and happy. we read many articles, blogs on Georgia Trip. No wonder our excitement was high.
Our travel arrangements was done by Airtravel Enterprises (ATE) from Dubai.
So on 25th April, all of us gathered at Dubai Terminal II to board our flight to Georgia. we boarded on Fly Dubai, at 11.00 am. It took us a while to complete our boarding procedures as it was a group booking. Including few kids we were a group of 20.
We arrived at Tbilisi International Airport, local time around 2:30 pm. The Immigration procedure was smooth, we took our luggage and walked out. At the lobby of the airport we met our guide Ms. Tamari, who was arranged through ATE. It was easy to identify as she had the name board with our company name. She welcomed all of us and we proceeded to the bus after a selfie.
The driver greeted us while entering the bus. On the way to our hotel, the tour guide explained few things about Georgia and its history. we could see various statues on the way to our hotel.
On our way to hotel... The road is named as President George W Bush Street
The climate was cool and breezy. Our stay for 3 nights was booked in Hotel – Rogalux, 4 Akaki Baqradze St, Tbilisi, Georgia. The check in procedure was not time consuming and easy process. I with my daughter and colleague Rakshu, shared a triple sharing basis room. we had a good view from our hotel room balcony. The Hotel was neat , room was tidy, large and comfy.
River view from our hotel room (Kura River)
Soon after check in and some refreshments, we hired taxi to visit the city side. This was not included in our itinerary but we made up our mind not to waste a single moment in Georgia.

After a long walk, we proceeded for dinner @ McDonald's, and then back to hotel for a good sleep.
